Terms & Conditions

1. Participant Eligibility

• Participants must ensure they are medically fit to take part in the event.
• Participation is entirely at the participant's own risk.
• Individuals under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair judgment or physical ability will not be permitted to participate.

2. Event Rules

• Participants must comply with all race rules, instructions, safety guidelines, and directions issued by the Event Organisers, Race Officials, Volunteers, and relevant authorities.
• Any misconduct, unsportsmanlike behaviour, or violation of event rules may result in disqualification without refund.

3. Assumption of Risk

• Marathon running involves inherent physical risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, accidents, weather-related conditions, and unforeseen circumstances.
• By participating, runners voluntarily accept all risks associated with the event and assume full responsibility for their participation.

4. Medical Assistance

• Participants authorise the Event Organisers to provide or arrange emergency medical assistance if deemed necessary.
• Any medical treatment or transportation expenses incurred shall be the sole responsibility of the participant.

5. Liability Waiver

• The Event Organisers, Odisha Tourism, sponsors, partners, venue authorities, volunteers, government agencies, and associated stakeholders shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, accident, or claim arising from participation in the event, except where required by applicable law.

6. Personal Responsibility

• Participants are responsible for their own conduct, belongings, equipment, and race readiness throughout the event.
• The Event Organisers are not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal property.

7. Photography & Media Consent

• By participating, runners grant permission to the Event Organisers to photograph, film, and record their participation.
• Event photographs, videos, race results, and participant information may be used for promotional, marketing, media, and event-related purposes without additional compensation.

8. Anti-Doping & Fair Play

• Participants must compete fairly and comply with all applicable race regulations.
• Any form of cheating, misconduct, or use of prohibited substances may result in immediate disqualification.

9. Event Changes

• The Event Organisers reserve the right to modify the race route, schedule, categories, or event format due to weather, safety concerns, government directives, or circumstances beyond their control.

10. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Registration fees are non-transferable and non-refundable unless otherwise specified by the Event Organisers.
• In the event of cancellation or postponement due to force majeure or circumstances beyond the organisers' control, the organisers' decision shall be final.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By completing the registration process, participants confirm that they:

• Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
• Accept all associated risks of participation.
• Agree to comply with all event rules and official instructions.
• Consent to the use of their photographs, videos, and race-related information for event purposes.
